Top tip: achieving the perfect finish!

It’s very easy to get carried away and start spraying without thinking about the next step. Our top tip this month is the golden rule for achieving the perfect finish: by turning things upside down! Whether it’s a table, chair, frame or tin can, always do the underside or back first. This allows you to do an unseen test area to make sure the paint is compatible and check whether you like the colour before spraying the whole item. It also means that should you move the object too soon and accidentally leave a mark or thumb print on not-quite dry paint, it will be in a place that won’t be visible.
